How Mugambi lost money from M-Pesa and M-Shwari Mugambi narrated how he lost his hard-earned money as he suspected foul play. He disclosed that he woke up to a series of M-Pesa transactions on his line in the middle of the night. "At 1.27am, my line sent KSh 60,000 to a new number. That transaction exhausted all my M-Pesa balance and left me with a Fuliza balance of KSh 7,616. At 2.06am, my line applied for an M-Shwari loan of KSh 23,640, which cleared the Fuliza balance and interest, leaving me with an M-Pesa balance of KSh 24,178. Immediately thereafter, KSh 8,231 was transferred from my M-Shwari account to M-Pesa," he wrote on his social media pages.
