The recognition comes as part of the esteemed ACI Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Survey, which assesses global passenger experiences.

ACI World's ASQ Awards are an annual celebration of excellence in airport customer experience, gauged through Departure and Arrival Surveys.

Moi airport previously earned the title for the best airport in the same category for Africa in 2021 and 2022.
